Here at SAPODILLAS, I’m dealing with a lot of climate anxiety. The only way I could find to chase my dreams and create wearable art was to limit my use of virgin textiles and primarily create garments from discarded and second-hand fabrics.
Not only is SAPODILLAS producing garments in a sustainable and ethical way, but we are actively working to divert textiles from landfills. This slow fashion approach allows SAPODILLAS to produce in a truly ethical way and create art with the planet front of mind.
